With the surge of reality programming in 2003 came a steady paycheck and a range of opportunities to drop in and draw out stories from all walks of life.

To Catch A Smuggler

To Catch A Smuggler

Narcotics mules. Stolen art. Human trafficking. Fraudulent visas. It’s all part of a day’s work for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers and Homeland Security Investigations special agents at Atlanta, JFK and Miami Airports. Oversaw the Atlanta airport production for National Geographic's season two of "To Catch A Smuggler."

Intervention: The Heroin Hub

Intervention: The Heroin Hub

Spent time directing Intervention in America's largest open drug market, Kensington Philadelphia where people are trying to make sense of the heroin/fentanyl crisis. We followed stories of addicts as they worked to overcome their opioid addictions and the enabling families struggling to help their loved one's seek rehab for the betterment of all. Series segments can be streamed online. I was on Team EJ. Click on link to watch.

Ancient Aliens

Ancient Aliens

Ancient Aliens explores the controversial theory that extraterrestrials have visited Earth for millions of years. After directing a season of Ancient Aliens I believe ETs attempted to warn us against nuclear annihilation. Each episode in this hit HISTORY series gives historic depth to the question, Did intelligent beings from outer space visit Earth thousands of years ago? Visit episodes below:

Women On Patrol for Lifetime

Women On Patrol for Lifetime

Documented female Officers, Lieutenant, Sergeants, and the K9 unit of Wilmington, North Carolina's police force to gain a better understanding of the many hats women wear in front line law enforcement. They are tough, empathetic, often de-escalating situations. I produced and filmed as they were dispatched to cases ranging from: shootings, ODs, gang violence, larceny, domestic violence, 911 hangups, warrant arrests, DUI, everything under the sun. Watch Eps

Say Yes to the Prom (Season 2 & 3)

Say Yes to the Prom (Season 2 & 3)

For consecutive years I produced and shot background packages on courageous students who overcame great obstacles to graduate high school. Say Yes To the Prom is a feel good show, a philanthropic endeavor by Discovery Foundation to reward deserving high school students with a celebratory PROM. Given my close relationship immersed in the students lives and hard-working teachers and principles, I help to shape the story arc of the show. This is just one of the many students I documented:

American Tarzan

American Tarzan

On the remote Caribbean island Dominica, seven challengers took on Mother Nature’s most brutal obstacle course. Their goal: to not only survive the wild, but to master it. In an epic journey through four distinct terrains; the jungle, coast, mountains and canyons, seven men and women lived off the land, while tackling the most punishing obstacles on earth. Only one became American Tarzan. I loved Dominica and producing this wild adventure! All the promotional photography shots are mine!

Welcome to Fairfax

Welcome to Fairfax

Producing/Directing Pivot's "Welcome To Fairfax," was a unique opportunity to connect with an up & coming LA community. The show delved into the personal lives of Fairfax Ave area musicians, entrepreneurs & artists working to build creative businesses including storeowner Gavin “Mizzle” McNeill, BMX rider Gabe Brooks, newcomer Tori, & rap group the Chill Black Guys (CBG). The 4 Fairfax blocks is where you come & connect with a confluence of young folks of every background, trying to rise above.

Forged in Fire

Forged in Fire

Swords may not be the weapon of choice for many people nowadays, with more advanced weaponry readily available, but that doesn’t stop some from continuing to work as bladesmiths. “Forged in Fire” tests some of the best in the field as they attempt to re-create some of history’s most iconic edged weapons. I documented finalists forging & perfecting historic swords in their home studios in hopes of becoming Forged in Fire champion.

Adventure Capitalists Season 1

Adventure Capitalists Season 1

Adventure Capitalists shows aspiring entrepreneur-contestants as they make business presentations to a panel of investors, who choose whether or not to invest after trying the mostly wilderness based products. Season 1 featured American football linebacker Dhani Jones, 2-time Olympic freestyle skier and 4-year American football wide receiver Jeremy Bloom, businessman Craig Cooper & other guests as investors. Fun show to produce as an outdoor lover.

Alaskan Bush People

Alaskan Bush People

Alaskan Bush People follows the Brown family, Billy, Ami and their seven children who live off the grid and depend on each other to survive in the wilderness of the Alaskan Bush. The series premiered on the Discovery Channel on May 6, 2014. I produced and shot on season 2 and 3. We filmed on location near Hoonah, Alaska and Chichagof Island. The Brown family welcomed me into their family with open arms and opened up their lives to me and America.

My BIG Redneck Wedding

My BIG Redneck Wedding

My Big Redneck Wedding was a hoot to shoot: squirrel hunting, mud wrestling, and an over-the-top wedding in chicken coop. Tamzen’s Father carried a rifle under one arm as he gave his bride away to Kevin. My favorite was the rib eating contest between bridesmaids and the groom. I earned the nickname “Skinnymini” by the loving bridesmaids. Awesome show to work on!
